The Hygiene Volunteer Fire Department has been proudly serving the Hygiene community for over 50 years. Our team is dedicated to protecting 4,500 citizens over a 55 square mile area in rural Boulder County. We are committed to providing top-notch fire, medical, and rescue services to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Association shall be a commitment to the preservation and protection of life and property from and during fires and other emergencies as they may occur in The Hygiene Fire Protection District: and to create and perpetuate a spirit of friendship between all members of the Association.
